images with olympus digital slr cameras underwater gallery vi by chris smolewski |
About Me: I'm Chris Smolewski from Canada. Photographic interests: Nature and underwater photography. Current Equipment: I no longer have the E-410 and the ZD14-54mm. I added the ZD50 mm Macro, the ZD14-54mm MkII, the FL-50 flash, an E-420 with the pancake, and an E 620 I use for my underwater shots. I also have a Sigma SD 14 for landscape and macro photography. This Gallery: A mixture of camera bodies and lenses used to capture these images. A couple are shot with the ZD11-22mm, the rest with the ZD50 mm Macro. A couple are taken with an E-410 body and the rest my recently acquired E-620. All were shot Raw using the viewfinder (not LV), developed, cropped and resized using the Olympus software. I did a little post-processing including some brightening and cleaning in Photoshop. Re-sized for web viewing. I went to Mexico again, and , of course, went diving and shot some pics. The ZD50 mm was my favorite lens this time, clearly outperforming the ZD11-22. I wish Olympus digital had some more prime lenses. I'd like to thank the Bahia Divers staff (a small diving operation in Xpu-Ha beach) who give me great freedom under water.
